A LONG-TERM SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERSHIP
In the early 2000s, Intertech Ci began working with a global energy engineering and manufacturing company through its Global Security Department. What started as a regional engagement grew into a long-term partnership focused on critical security infrastructure, ongoing service, and technical support across domestic and international sites.
Today, Intertech Ci serves as the company’s Electronic Security Agreement (ESA) provider for Pennsylvania operations and supports sites across North America, Europe, and Asia.
HEADQUARTERS SECURITY DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION
A major milestone in the partnership began in 2008 with the design and implementation of the company’s corporate headquarters campus.
Working closely with the architect, design team, and general contractor over a two-year construction period, Intertech Ci designed and deployed integrated electronic security systems throughout three buildings on campus.
The project included:
- Software House access control systems
- American Dynamics video surveillance systems
- Boon Edam optical turnstiles and revolving doors
- Intrusion alarm monitoring systems
- Door position sensors on all secured doors
- Rooftop surveillance cameras positioned at each corner of the buildings
- Integrated fencing and gate systems
Building 1, the primary structure on campus, included a multi-story facility with a penthouse level and be low-grade basement. Buildings 2 and 3 were designed as future east and west wing expansions connected to the main structure.
Since the initial implementation, Intertech Ci has continued expanding and upgrading the headquarters security infrastructure, including the addition of optical turnstiles throughout the campus and expanded security systems for Building 4 in 2009.
ONGOING SERVICE & GLOBAL SUPPORT
In 2024, Intertech Ci renewed a three-year service agreement running through 2027 to support the company’s security infrastructure. The agreement includes support for facilities throughout nine domestic
states and eight international countries. Under the agreement, Intertech Ci provides dedicated onsite and remote technical support, ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination for system repairs and replacement components.
The partnership also includes recurring biweekly coordination calls with the company’s Global Security
Team to ensure alignment across all locations and initiatives.
CONTINUED EXPANSION & SYSTEM UPGRADES
Intertech Ci has completed numerous additional projects across the organization, including:
- Control panel upgrades across Pennsylvania facilities
- New Software House access control implementations
- Additional optical turnstiles and entry control enhancements
- Panic button installations
- Tenant security system installations within the headquarters campus
MANAGING COMPLEX GLOBAL LOGISTICS
Supporting a globally distributed security program requires consistent coordination across time zones, facilities, and project teams. Intertech Ci routinely works with remote site contacts, local subcontractors, and international stakeholders to maintain operational continuity and ensure standardized security performance across all supported locations. Through nearly two decades of partnership, Intertech Ci has continued to provide scalable security solutions, responsive service, and long-term support for a complex global enterprise environment. In addition to new installations, we resolved long-standing projects that had remained incomplete under previous integrators.
